Welcome to Clarity's Road Safety Portal. This allows for electronic submission of your response in relation to the S172 Notice Requirement for Driver Information (on the reverse of the Notice of Intended Prosecution) received in relation to an alleged speeding offence.
To proceed you will need to have this form to hand as we need the Offence Reference Number and your Security PIN from it.

- Is the Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP) addressed to a Company/Hire Company? - You MUST nominate the driver. You CANNOT make an admission to being the driver if the NIP is addressed to a company.
- Is the Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP) addressed to someone else? - It is still THEIR responsibility to nominate the driver at the time of the alleged offence. Give the NIP back to them! Do not complete it.
- Do the first 5 letters of your Driving Licence Number exactly match your surname? If not, you cannot respond via this portal and you must respond using the paper notice you have received. E.g – Surname is Macmillan and Driving Licence shows first 5 letter as MCMIL.
